Current Employment Opportunities

Veterinarian

If you think practicing high-quality, mixed animal medicine in a rural setting can’t be done, think again! Set against the beautiful backdrop of southwestern Montana, we at the Clark Fork Veterinary Clinic do just that every day. If you are looking for a veterinarian job in Montana, you probably already know all the wonderful things our area has to offer. If not, let us know and we will be happy to elaborate. What you likely don’t know is the list of characteristics we are looking for in a new teammate and who we are as a clinic. We need a positive, growth-oriented person who wants to lead a team of fun, hard working people. We need someone who loves our clients as much as our patients. We need someone who enjoys teaching (both clients and teammates) as well as learning. We need someone who wants to live out their personal core values and enjoy their life - both at work and at home. If this describes you and you want to work in a place with an active culture that our staff describes as fun, family, supportive, caring, growth-mindset oriented, and ethical, please send us a resume and cover letter.

Wondering who we are? The Clark Fork Veterinary Clinic (CFVC) is a mixed animal practice looking for someone who truly likes working on both large and small animals. CFVC is a rural, general care practice striving to meet as many of our patients' needs as possible. We offer boarding, general appointments, surgery, hospitalization, and emergency services. As a four doctor team we rotate emergency call and one weekend per month. Ensuring this is not a burn out point for anyone on our team is a priority and we work to serve our patients and still find balance. We live into our CFVC core values by prioritizing our community service projects, annual client meetings, training programs (complete CVA and communication curricula), staff development days, and team growth. How do we do all this while seeing our patients and practicing medicine? Through stellar teamwork. We are a team of colleagues who are parents, adventurers, and pet owners. We are passionate about our lives both inside and outside of work. As such, we want you to be your best self at home and at work. This allows us to practice quality medicine (like we envisioned during school) and be compassionate with our clients.
